Challenge
As one of the first typography projects in our graphic design program, the Type Fundamentals Book was a challenging project in which students had to successfully execute typography layouts in 5 different categories: 10 pt font, scale, axis, graphic element, and imagery.
Solution
The exhibition that I chose to create my layouts on was “Letterform Archive,” a digital archive of various typographic works of art. I played around with different styles for each category including using imagery from the official website. This rigorous exercise transformed my design abilities.
